• Transfer from Florence airport to the property in Siena.
• Arrival and check-in at your charming Hotel in Siena.
Your 4-star hotel is within walking distance from the centre and has a terrace offering striking views over the town and its ancient walls.
Superior rooms offer ensuite private bath, in-room safe, mini-bar, hair dryer, air conditioning, safe safety box, telephone, internet and LCD TVs, kettle with selection of coffee and teas, There is a concierge service and daily breakfast is served in the breakfast room.

• Later in the evening, enjoy a welcome 4-course tasting dinner with wine pairing celebrating the flavors of Tuscany. Our selected restaurant, is set right in the heart of Siena.

After dinner, return to the hotel with your group leader.

• Morning - Visit Castello di Fonterutoli, a modern winery that is home to centuries-old knowledge and know-how, where you will enjoy a tour followed by a 4-course lunch accompanied by 5 different wines.
• Afternoon - visit your second winery, a cherry-picked gem in the Chianti region, selected by our experts. Enjoy a guided tour of the former abbey, its renaissance gardens, frescoed salons, cloister and historical ageing cellars. Then, tasting of four wines of Badia a Coltibuono with some homemade “schiacciata”.

• In the morning, set out on your Walking Tour of Siena with your professional licensed Tour Guide:
Visit the Church of San Domenico, Salimbeni Palace, the ancient Banchi di Sopra street and Palace Chigi Saracini. The tour includes a visit of Siena’s Cathedral where a selection of masterpieces by Michelangelo, Donatello and Bernini are displayed. Walk through the square, Il Campo, where the traditional horse race, the “Palio di Siena”, takes place every year, and with your guide, discover the town’s enchanting unknown hidden corners.
Free for lunch in Siena before meeting your driver for your afternoon excursion.
• Afternoon, winery visit in Montepulciano:
our guests will tour the beautiful aging cellars adorned with commissioned artwork, French chandeliers and a variety of bronze statues and sculptures.
Tasting of 5 wines accompanied by a cheese/cold cut and bruschetta board.

• Early evening - check-in to your boutique hotel in Val d’Orcia.
• 4-course Gourmet Tuscan Dinner at Antica Trattoria Toscana which offers the best traditional cuisine and Tuscan specialties accompanied by famous local wines.
• Breakfast at your hotel.
• Morning: 11:30 visit to the first Montalcino Winery.
The Colombini family has owned land in Montalcino since 1352, and this Fatoria-winery since the end of the 18th century. They have been producing Brunello since 1892. The Historical Ageing Cellars have been open to the public for over 70 years. Within the Fattoria-winery is located their Caseificio - Cheese Dairy. Launched for the first time in the mid-19th century, it’s the oldest cheese production business still existing in Montalcino.
Visit of the ancient wine cellar.

- Tastings of cured meats and pecorino cheeses made in-house in paired with Rosso di Montalcino DOC;
- Pici pasta with meat sauce paired with Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Vigna del Fiore;
- Scottiglia of chicken, pork, rabbit OR Montalcinese stew, roasted potatoes paired with Brunello di Montalcino DOCG;
- Vinsanto ricotta mousse served with Vinsanto del Chianti DOC.

• Afternoon visit of the second Montalcino winery: Tour of the winery starts among the rows of vines, where you will find out all about the organic-regenerative viticulture. Learn about everything that happens between the vineyard and the glass as your tour continues into the winery to observe various phases of production, from fermentation to bottling. You will then visit the historic wine cellars, restored to their original splendour following a five-year restoration project. Here you will see big barrels for ageing the most prestigious wines, the unique architecture of the ancient cistern, a collection of historic vintages and the “Teca Tachis”, a corner of the winery dedicated to the great oenologist Giacomo Tachis. Your tour will conclude with a tasting of a selection of 4 wines.
Return to your hotel in Val d’Orcia.

• Check out of your Hotel in Val d’Orcia. Depart for Florence.
On the way to Florence, stop off to visit Fattoria in San Casciano. The farm, situated roughly halfway between Florence and Siena, is dedicated to the production of the finest quality wine, olive oil and sheep’s cheeses.
Tour and tasting: Vineyard walk and cellar tour, explanation of the dairy (no entry) with a description of the production process. A tasting follows: Four wines, Tasting of sweet wine “Il Passito”, Six cheeses served with Mostarda di Cremona (a special local chutney) or locally produced honey, extra-virgin olive oils, cured meats, bread basket with Tuscan bread and “schiacciata”
Duration around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

• Late afternoon - Dark Florence Tour (duration: 2 hours)

Meet your guide at the hotel for a very easy walk through the historical centre. You’ll walk past many of the city’s famous monuments (like the Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Strozzi), discovering their darker side, as well as exploring unmapped alleys and tiny, unknown piazzas.

• Free Morning and afternoon for guests to enjoy different museums, or shopping. Suggestions: visit the Boboli Gardens (behind Pitti Palace) which were designed for the Medici family and feature many different fountains, statues and decorative caves. Alternatively, walk over to the Officina Santa Maria Novella whose roots date back to the 13th century. Considered the world’s oldest pharmacy, Santa Maria Novella offers everything from fragrances and pot puorri to candles and traditionally-prepared waters, creams and bath salts. Or explore Florence’s Oltrarno area, home to historic sites, large gardens and artistic traditions.
• Farewell Dinner & Winery Tour at a "Castello" in Florence. In the evening, visit the castle and enjoy an unforgettable dinner. Wine included.
